Yea, the result is out. The outcome is …

I’m officially a BACHELOR OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS (HONS) BUSINESS INFORMATION SYSTEMS Degree Holder. Wahahaha. According to my prediction, i’ll get a second lower class. Anyway, I’m graduate!!!

During the releasing of the result, I’m enjoying my vacation in Pulau Langkawi. The trip is really fun and relaxing. Sadly after the trip also, some of us will be leaving and persue their own dreams. Anyway hope we’ll be able to contact each others via Internet.

Yes, finaly I’ve finished my final year exam! This will be my last academy life, after this I’ll start on working. But in between of that I’ll take the opportunity to have a good rest and have fun before becoming a work slave. Wahahaha. We had planned to go on a trip at Pulau Langkawi, it will be a 3 days 2 nights trip. This is also our last class gathering trip, where everyone will start on their career or others even going on to take their master. Until then this will also be my last chance to meet my felow degree classmates. Of cause some good friends will remain together. Hahaha. Anyway good luck to everyone. Hope everyone can get a good result in their exam.

It had been quite some time since I last updated my blogz. Recently, I’m busy with my assignment and my Final Year Project. Well regarding on my Final Year Project which is a compulsory subject in my University sllybus, I’m doing on a restaurant management system which uses the wireless connection to transmit data by using a PDA (My M500 of coz). Everything workout great as my supervisor is very satisfy with my outcome and nominated me to join the FYP competition held by my Univeristy. Well in the competiton, I didn’t win any major prize except for the consolation prize.

As all these thing had turn into past, now I’m focusing on my final year exam which started on 8 of September 2005. This is my last exam for my University life as I’m going to graduate hopefully with a upper class level.

Eten M500 has just come out with the latest 0039 ROM update. It’s been quite a while since the last update. The latest 0039 ROM doesn’t have any major update on the device so, nothing much can be said. I’ve updated it and it’s as stable as usual. Eten has done a pretty good job on this device. The detail of the updates are as follow:

Improvements (ROM 0039)

1. Compatibility issue with iTech BT earset — solved
2. Sleep –>re-activate leads to reversal of camera icon on screen — solved
3. GSM signal strength indicator (bar numbers) now shows correctly and refresh time shortened
4. Handsfree mode–>BT, voice cannot come through — solved
5. SDIO program now works when re-activated from sleep mode
6. New, enhanced version of Voice Command program
7. Support external USB Host

Eten M500, my phone + PDA. Well M500 has been release for months now, yet not many peoples are using it. Many argues that the design of M500 is very "ugly" and the build quality of M500 is very plasticky. But there are still M500 users out there trying to survive.

For me, choosing M500 is a good choice. Have you seen any hardware issues and software issues that occured on this device? If you compare to O2 Mini, since its M500 only rivals, O2 seems to have so many issues. Just browse through any tech website, you’ll see people kept asking why Mini cannot do this and why cannot do that? Worst still Mini users had to hard reset and soft reset often. O2 had yet to come out with a stable Mini ROM update.

I’ve been using M500 for 3 months now. I had only hard reset my device 2 times. I’ve not hard reset it for 2 months now except for the time update the 0037 ROM myself where it’s practically a hard reset.

Eten has just recently show their new product M600. It’s better in term of it has a built in WiFi and the latest WM 5.0. I just can’t wait to get hold of it. Untill then M500 Rules!!!
